Tri-point 3d printing
Where innovation and art progress layer by layer to create the future
About Tri-point 3d printing
What is Tri-point 3d printing:
Tri-Point 3D Printing is the manufacturing branch of Tri-Point 12, dedicated to pushing the limits of all types of manufacturing. It’s a platform for experimentation and for pushing what’s possible in both design for manufacturing and manufacturing itself. It also serves as the conduit between the digital world and the real world—a way to take art or parts from other branches and turn them into real physical objects through the immense power of digital fabrication technology.
Tri-point 3d printing story:
Tri-Point 3D Printing—the
sub-brand—officially started around 2024. However, like
all the "About" sections on this website, it’s not that
straightforward. The venture may have begun in 2024, but my
3D printing journey started much earlier. To truly grasp the
3D printing story, you need to go back about eight years (as of
the time of writing), when my dad brought home a 3D printer that
was about to be discarded from his job. It was an old Cube 3D
with a tiny build volume of 146 millimeters3. The
nozzles were also small, causing prints to take an eternity—but
everything must start somewhere. After eight years of learning
and becoming familiar with the technology, I now own a printer
that is likely a thousand times more advanced, and offers 28
times the build volume. When I purchased it two years ago, the
idea of beginning to 3D print products for people emerged.
Cult’s 3D 3d models
My Cults 3D Shop was officially launched on April 19, 2024. It was never really meant to be big—I had just started 3D modeling all sorts of things for fun. After a while, I began to think that my models were actually worth buying, so I started a shop.
Everything on there is probably priced higher than it should be. The reason is simple—3D models take forever to make. For example, I have an SR-71 model on the shop that took me over 70 hours to complete. The full model is priced at $250, which is nowhere near fair compensation for the time spent, but despite that, it’s the venture that has made me the most money—$69 in sales as of the time of writing this.
bēhance showcase and
custom 3D models
My Behance Shop launched in December 2024. It’s a place to showcase 3D models and offer digital assets for purchase, as well as custom 3D modeling services at $50/hour. I work with SolidWorks, Shapr3D, ZBrush, Fusion 360, and also create simple Blender animations. Let’s collaborate! Whether you need a model for a project or a custom design, please feel free to reach out to us through Behance.
